CROP CIRCLES 2010 - REPORT 56
Green Street, Avebury. Wiltshire. Reported 16 - 08- 10 We visited this formation late afternoon on day one. The condition of the laid maize plants suggested that the pattern had been on the ground for at least 24 hours. Critical examination of the laid crop was carried out over a ninety minute period and in that time I did not find a single laid plant that was not broken or crushed. The breaking of the plants was well evident throughout the entire formation, some stems were kinked many inches above ground level while others were sharply broken off at the base. Others had the breaks below the soil level. Much of the laid crop had heavy scrape marks on the lower portion of the stems. Based on the above, which is clearly shown in the ground photographs, one has to conclude that this event was created with the use of heavy pressure and/or mechanical devices. The farmer destroyed the formation around 6; 30 pm on August 16. |
