Clifton, Near Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
Reported 12 - 07- 10
Many thanks to Val Shepherd for providing this report.
Crop Circle Brighouse, West Yorkshire.
I investigated this on July 29th. It lies in a wheatfield east of the M62 just south of the Hartshead Moor Service station. Access is from a minor road through Clifton. Grid ref;SE 1716 2300. On explorer map 288 Bradford and Huddersfield. It is on a slope, seen imperfectly from the motorway. It consists of 7 aligned circles in a line with 2 outlying circles. The circles are laid flat in a clockwise direction. There was a skeleton of an animal, possibly rabbit in the largest circle. There are signs of visitors. I found diagram on crop circle connector website which seems correct.
The site is within a mile from an ancient church at Hartshead and not far from Kirklees Hall, Priory and Robin Hoods Grave.
