Ground Photography: Crop Circle At Stanton St Bernard, Wiltshire – Reported June 16 2015

Report by Charles R Mallett..
Indications on ground suggest that the circle had been in situ one full day or more prior to out arrival at the site – this is determined by the amount of natural recovery of laid wheat plants that has taken place subsequent to the pattern going down and also the amount of healing to physical damage on laid plants.. The symbol is approximately 180 feet diameter with the central backbone line/path width being sat within and thus exactly same as the field tramline.

The laid plants were noted as being bent (kinked) over at various levels above the base of stems which would indicate that the process that caused the wheat to flatten was not at all regular or/or smooth…. That, coupled with a clear pattern of crushing on the laid plants (especially notable on peripheral areas) made it clear that this circle is a local production and thus not relevant in terms of the ‘real’ circles phenomenon.

From the aerial photography (and also in some of the ground images) one can clearly see parallel lines in the laid crop and following the curvature of the outer ring…all very consistent with the mechanics of human crop pattern production using 3ft wide boards as the primary crop flattening tool. The fact that this circle’s initial aerial photography was carried out by a known crop circle hoaxer – and then disguised as (c) cropcircleconnector.com was also rather less than inspiring. Very well made however.
