Old Sarum. Near Salisbury, Wiltshire.

This first UK crop glyph of 2010 measures approximately 180 feet in diameter. Due to our visit to this circle being cut very short by the farmer, no detailed consideration of the event was possible on the ground.

The overall impression is that the circle had been on the ground for at least few days prior to the initial report.

It looked as if a good number of people had visited the circle prior to our arrival and had left substantial damage throughout the formation, plenty of the crop was left undamaged however.

The Farmer would like no further visitors to this formation.

The glyph is very visible from the Old Sarum Castle.
